HD to SD, SD to HD …

custom suffixes support.

1. Drag & Drop

Drag & Drop files in the area bellow. Supported type: images, tiled map files (.tmx). You can also drop a folder (HD2x will add automatically the supported files).
Files marked in red ‘Invalid filename format’ won’t be processed. You may change suffixes in order to change the status.

Suffixes (separated by ; ). Default: -hd;@2x.
Remove / Add suffix: Select the suffix behavior.

Example with the default suffixes list.

Remove suffix:
image1-hd.png   -> image1.png
image2@2x.jpg  -> image2.jpg
image3.png         -> ‘Invalid filename format’

Add suffix: (only the first suffix will be used (-hd in the example))
image1-hd.png   -> ‘Invalid filename format’
image2@2x.jpg  -> ‘Invalid filename format’
image3.png         ->  image3-hd.png
(p.s.: in this case, change the scale to 200% in order to produce HD files)

Clear Invalids: clear the invalids from the list.
Clear All: clear all the list.

2. Output Directory
You can leave the field empty, each destination file will be created in the same directory as the source file.
Ex:
/user/hd2x/image1-hd.png -> /user/hd2x/image1.png
/user/hd2x/foo/image2@2x.png -> /user/hd2x/foo/image2.png

Select an output directory will write all files in the same destination directory
Ex: (output directory : /user/hd2x/project/)
/user/hd2x/image1-hd.png -> /user/hd2x/project/image1.png
/user/hd2x/foo/image2@2x.png -> /user/hd2x/project/image2.png

3. Publish

Quality: Select the quality during an image scale
Scale: Select the scale factor.
Ex:     50 % to divide the source by 2.
100 % will keep the same size
200 % to double the size.
Also copy source to output: while publishing to an output directory, HD2x will also copy the source to the destination directory.
Overwrite: check the box to automatically overwrite files. Uncheck the box to prevent any existing files to be overwritten.

Click HD2x! to generate the files.
